Girls Lacrosse

Telluride's Girls Fall Lacrosse Program is open to girls in grades 2-8. Our Skills and Drills program is for girls in grades 2-3 looking to learn the basics of the game with 2 practices a week and no tournament travel. Girls grades 4-8 will have 2 practices a week and have the opportunity to travel to Aspen and Vail for tournaments.

In the event a team does not have enough kids to field a team for a tournament, we may combine with another Telluride team or with a group of girls from other clubs.

Practice Schedule

Tues/Thurs

Grades 2-6: 3:45-4:45pm

Grades 7-8: 5:30-6:45pm (dependent on volleyball schedule)

Oct 6 – Aspen

Oct 19/20? Vail

Girls lacrosse requires a regulation girls lacrosse stick, goggles, cleats and a mouthguard (no clear mouthguards). A uniform is required for tournament play and can be purchased during registration. We have a few loaner sticks kids can try before buying!

Starter Kits (Stick & Goggles) are great for younger kids

Older kids may want to get gear more appropriate for their age. Lacrosse Unlimited in Denver or online can be very helpful to find the right size for your kids.

Uniforms: If your athlete needs a uniform you must order ASAP. Please do not delay as we will not able to fulfill order requests as we get closer to he season. Cutoff for uniform orders is Aug 21. Skills & Drills do not need uniforms.

Old Uniforms and Sticks: If you have any sticks or uniforms you’d like to donate back to the club, please bring them to the first practice.
